What is GOEWS?
The Greatly Over Engineered Wall System (GOEWS) is a modular storage ecosystem that merges the Gridfinity standard with a rigid, hexagonal tile matrix.
GOEWS is significantly easier to use than other 3D-printable wall systems; there is no fiddling with complex inserts or tile connectors. It just attaches to a wall or surface directly with screws.
GRIDFINITY DNA
Built on the 42mm Gridfinity base unit. Your existing Gridfinity bins will align perfectly with GOEWS tile units.
HIGH STRENGTH
Optimized for high strength and rigidity. You can feel comfortable hanging heavy items without worrying too much about whether the tiles will hold them.
HEXAGONAL INTERLOCK
Hexagonal tiles interlock to form large rigid surfaces. Mounting holes are distributed throughout the tiles for even more rigidity when required.
ACTIVE RETENTION
The cleats can handle a lot of weight on their own, but optional bolts can be added to lock them in for much greater weight handling and to keep them in place.
OPEN LICENSING

TILE TYPES
HEX
The original configuration. These tiles interlock with each other in a pleasing hexagonal pattern.
GRID
A secondary configuration that uses less horizontal space. Most accessories are fully compatible.
CLEAT VARIANTS
ORIGINAL
The original specification designed by MrExo3D. Features a vast standard library of accessories.
THICKER CLEATS
The cleat profile is shifted back by 1mm, resulting in thicker cleat shoulders. This results in 60% higher weight capacity on the hanger while using 10% less filament for the tiles.
